For my last two days in NYC I had to indulge in some cultural life of the city! My first choice was the MOMA. I visited it for the first time in 2005 but I didn't have the time back then to look at all the pieces and to have a relaxed visit.
This time I dedicated my whole afternoon to the MOMA, put on some comfortable shoes, packed my lovely PEN and was happy to find the audio guide being free (I LOVE audio guides!!!).
But we are in the city of cities, so of course an unexpected fashionable encounter happened. Xavier from babes at the museum approached me, and we took some photos in front of two of my favorite pieces. Thank you Xavier, it was a really spontaneous and fun experience! Find these photos and more fun pics with other babes at the museum HERE.
More photos I took of some art pieces after the click!
I have to say, I love installations, I don't really know why exactly, maybe because they come with so many stories (see Joseph Beuys!). I was not so impressed by the architectural exhibition but I also don't really have an eye for that. Big things like the helicopter in the middle of the building impressed me as much as the tiny little note I found hidden between some other art pieces. I had such a great time!
Bisous,
Mia
